Western diving spots with rich marine biodiversity

View Sites

The sites spanning this area has a lovely mix of sand patches covered in seagrass and coral reefs. They are very pleasant to dive on given the right conditions. When planned at the best tides and calm surface conditions, the shallow sloping reefs of these dive sites can be enjoyed by snorkelers and beginner divers alike, and the seagrass-covered sand patches serve as important feeding grounds for turtles and dugongs, which allows for the possibility of a delightful ocean encounter to remember. Advanced and qualified divers can also explore the deeper sections of the area with large bommies and schooling fishes extending down to 35-40 meters in some parts.

Shore diving access is fairly easy across these dive sites, but be weary of swells, surge and strong currents particularly during spring tides and windy days.
